Urinary incontinence doesn't care how old you are

Between 50% and 70% of men with urinary incontinence [1] (UI) suffer in silence and never seek help. Yet men aged 18-39 are already the single largest buyers of incontinence products globally, holding 23.1% of the market. [2]
We're just doing it alone, in secret, and in shame.
Men who experience UI symptoms, 1 in 5 (20%) reported their symptoms first started between the ages of 18 and 25. [3]
There are an estimated 400,000+ men aged 18-39 in the UK and 2.9 million in the EU living with urinary incontinence [4]. Due to chronic underreporting that figure is almost certainly a significant underestimate.
The true figure is unknown but we'll find out together.

Our Story

My name is Andrew, I am 32 years old and I suffer with urinary incontinence (UI). For years I suffered in silence and kept a secret bottled up. I would see incontinence products in the supermarket and I would think, "they're not for me, they're for older people". I was wrong. I was ashamed and embarrassed of my condition. I had no reason to be and neither do you. Together, we will break the stigma of male urinary incontinence.

Our Goal

Our goal is to break the stigma and taboo of male urinary incontinence (UI) by pushing for real change in how these products are marketed, packaged and talked about. This goes deeper than just you and me, there are millions of us. It is also a silent mental health epidemic.Among men suffering with UI, the prevalence of clinical depression is 10.91%. Men with UI are 2.69 times more likely to experience depression compared to those without the condition. [5]

Our Plan

Firstly, to bridge the gap between what sufferers of urinary incontinence (UI) want and what is currently available, I need data from real men just like me.I need to know what other men like me want from the products we all buy every month.What would make it less embarrassing to buy UI products? What would make buying UI products the same as buying toothpaste or any other hygiene product we all buy frequently without embarrassment?
